Of all the people you know who don't wear a mask, how many would you say are judgemental of others?

This came up in a conversation and I mentioned how it really seemed to be a one way street. Seems to me those that don't wear them are completely respectful of others right to wear them and encourage them to do what they feel comfortable with. People that insist on it seem to be wishing death to others.

About as non-judgemental as they are considerate when walking thru a grocery store.

It's reasonable to presume that about 95% of those refusing to practice active mitigation are judgemental about the actions of others

Just as it's likely that 95% of those who do wear masks do likewise

That's because passing judgement on the behavior of others is perhaps the most common human shortcoming. I know I am not immune from it even as I realize what a foolish use of my life it can be

I don't think it's reasonable at all. In fact, I have seen nothing of the sort. It's even more prevalent as those that are demanding of others have shown their ire considerably more as the state gets closer to 100% open.

If anyone ever judges me based on my decision to wear a mask or not, we should judge them for being so judgmental.

I choose not to wear one. I could care less who does though. It's all a personal decision. Shouldn't be more than that.

Two weeks ago me and my 2 boys were waiting in line at home depot and a lady told me I should be a better parent and make my kids wear a mask.....I hit her with the facts and why my family doesnt feel the need to wear one....it wasnt a scene or anything, but a couple people started laughing. She got mad and left......i guess she just was having a bad day.

I've seen a little of this and the local, online stuff is through the roof (of course, people tend to be a lot braver hiding behind a computer). I really haven't seen in person (or online) anyone that doesn't wear a mask throwing any daggers at those that want to (except in situations when they are provoked). Pretty much the attitude has been exactly as you stated...it's a personal decision (you do you, I do me type attitude). I suspect in my area, those insisting on masks are pissed because it's not the law of the land at this point and the god forsaken news has got them so worked up with their fear mongering that they feel they're being violated.

If you're judgmental, you mistakenly believe everyone else is

The concept of live and let live is something far too many simply can't grasp

They want to write the rules and control things (when they can't even manage their own lives)

We want, for us and for them

I wear them into stores, but I’m not wearing it anywhere else .
I was doing road work in passiac county last week and people came out and started filming us because we weren’t wearing masks when we were working.
